🚀 PRELEV’MANS Project Kick-Off

🚀 A new milestone for Alkaline Technologies

On Friday 10th, July, we had the pleasure of launching PRELEV’MANS alongside Le Mans City, Metropolitan Authority and CCAS, as well as the project partners: Le Mans Innovation, Pôle EMC2 and Veolia.

Over the coming months, we will investigate an innovative approach to transforming fine incinerator bottom ash fractions into a strategic mineral resource, addressing key challenges related to sovereignty, decarbonization and sustainability.

To achieve this, we will optimize our treatment process at laboratory scale using nearly 200 kg of material collected from the Allonnes bottom ash treatment facility. The process combines:

✅ physical separation of mineral phases;

✅ permanent CO₂ mineralization;

✅ improvement of material quality;

✅ exploration of new valorization pathways.
