The team is back in the laboratory!
Over the past year, we have launched several client projects covering a growing range of alkaline industrial residues—from incineration bottom ash and red gypsum to other mineral materials with cementitious potential.
Now it is time to deliver.
Over the coming months, we will:
• complete the projects already underway and produce results that our clients can genuinely rely on to inform their industrial decisions;
• advance our integrated metal recovery and carbonation process from laboratory trials towards pilot-scale demonstration;
• continue to publish and share most of the findings from our R&D that we can reasonably make accessible.
Our approach will remain guided by applied science.
For us, this means conducting rigorous experiments to address the constraints that determine whether a process can work beyond the laboratory: feedstock variability, contaminants, process robustness, water and energy consumption, economic viability, and viable end uses for the materials produced.
We will document the projects, materials, pilot trials, publications, and lessons learned associated with each of these commitments. Before summer 2027, we will revisit this list and report on what we have actually achieved.
A heartfelt thank you to all our clients and partners for their continued trust and support.
Back to the laboratory. Closer than ever to the realities on the ground.
